The Plot ( Finish almost one night to re-write this review)...
When a prank on a fellow high-school student goes wrong, popular but rebellious Landon Carter (Shane West) is threatened with expulsion. His punishment is mandatory participation in various after-school activities, such as tutoring disadvantaged children and performing in the drama club's spring musical. At these functions he is forced to interact with quiet, bookish Jamie Sullivan (Mandy Moore), a girl he has known for many years but with whom he has rarely ever spoken. Their differing social statures leave them worlds apart, despite their close physical proximity.
When Landon has trouble learning his lines, he asks Jamie for help. She agrees to help him if he promises not to fall in love with her. Landon laughs off the strange remark, believing Jamie to be the last person with whom he would ever fall in love. After all, Landon has access to the prettiest and most popular girls in town; and between her shy demeanor and old-fashioned wardrobe, Jamie doesn't exactly fall into that category.
Landon and Jamie begin practicing together at her house after school. The two form a tentative friendship, and Landon learns that Jamie has a wish list of all the things she hopes to do in her life, such as getting a tattoo and being in two places at once. One day, Jamie approaches Landon at his locker, where he is hanging out with some of his friends. When Jamie asks Landon if they are still on for practice that afternoon he smirks "In your dreams". His friends laugh and Landon's smirk falters as Jamie's face fills with betrayal and embarrassment. That afternoon Landon arrives at Jamie's house, hoping that Jamie will still agree to help him. But she refuses to open the door. When she eventually does, she sarcastically remarks that they can be "secret friends". She slams the door in his face when he agrees. Landon eventually learns the script by himself.
During the play, Jamie astounds Landon and the entire audience with her beauty and voice. Landon kisses Jamie during the play, which was not in the script, and Landon tries to get close to Jamie, but she repeatedly rejects him. It is only after a mean joke played on Jamie by Landon's friends that Jamie agrees to get to know Landon after he punches out Dean and shuns Belinda (his friends who played the joke) and takes Jamie home. The two pursue a relationship. He takes her out to dinner and dances with her, something he never did for anyone else. When he discovers that Jamie has a wish list, he sets out to help her accomplish them. One memorable date had Landon taking Jamie to the state line. He excitedly positions her on the line in just the right way, and when Jamie asks him what he's doing he tells her "You're in two places at once". Her face lights up with joy, as she realizes that Landon set out to make her impossible dreams come true.
Jamie finally tells Landon that she has terminal leukemia and has stopped responding to treatments. Landon gets upset at first. Jamie tells him the reason why she didn't tell him because she was moving on with her life and using the time she left but then Landon happened and she fell in love with him. Jamie starts to break down as she says to Landon "I do not need a reason to be angry with God." and she flees.
Landon goes to his doctor father's house and asks him to help Jamie. His father freaks out a bit and says that he needs to examine Jamie and know her medical history before he could do anything. Landon leaves in a huff.
Landon and Jamie make up the next day. They hug and he tells her that he will be there for her. Soon, word gets out about Jamie's illness. Eric, Landon's best friend comes and tells him how sorry he is and that he didn't understand. Dean and Belinda both come and apologize.
Jamie's cancer gets worse and she collapses in her father's arms. He rushes her to the hospital where he meets Landon. Landon doesn't leave Jamie's side until her father practically has to pry him away. Jamie's father sits with Jamie and tells her that "If I've kept you too close, it's because I wanted to keep you longer." Jamie tells him that she loves him and her father breaks down.
The next day, Landon comes to the hospital and sees Jamie being wheeled out of there. He asks what's going on. Jamie asks him to thank his father for her. Landon asks Jamie's father what she means. He tells him that his father is going to pay for private homecare for Jamie. Landon is stunned. Late that night, Landon knocks on his father's front door. His father answers. Landon whispers "thank you." His father hugs him. With all the exhaustion and fear billowing over, Landon breaks down in tears in his dad's arms.
Landon continues to fulfill various wishes on Jamie's list, such as building her a telescope so she can see a comet. Through this process, Landon and Jamie learn more about the nature of love. The movie ends with Jamie's death, but only after the couple are married in the same chapel as was Jamie's deceased mother, the event that topped Jamie's wish list. Landon himself becomes a better person through Jamie's memory, achieving the goals that he set out to do, like she did.
Four years later, Landon visits Jamie's father. It is obvious that Jamie helped him to focus and become a better person. For example, he reveals he has finished college and been accepted to medical school; prior to meeting her he had no plans for life after high school. He tells Jamie's father that he is sorry he could not grant Jamie's wish to witness "a miracle" before she died. Her father says "She did. It was you".
(How great the power of love can change other person life, actually that's the true love..... Q: Have you ever been in love?? :P, if u dont, you wont understand it :p)

Yet…Another frustrating night for me…
Have u ever experience the feeling to be in a side which hasn’t won for three consecutive games? The frustration, the hard feeling and the pain was so deep yet overwhelming until u feel like wanna stay awake for the whole week.
Last nite, I was awake the whole night just to see my favourite football team sunk AGAIN by a side which has been proved not on the same level with them. With a cup of milk as a companion and a box of ‘refreshment’, I went down to the Bilik TV at exactly 2.30 am in the morning. I was very excited at first as my team, The Red Devils (Manchester United) was up against a Spaniard side, Villareal.
It has been a privileged for me to be born as a fan of Manchester United. Since my early involvement with football, the team had been my idol. Eric Cantona, Roy Keane, David Beckam, Ruud Van Nistelroy, u name it..they all are among the players in my Hall of Fame list.
But, yet..the performance they (I mean not them as they were the legends, but the young generation)have given me this last few weeks was so disappointing. Last Saturday’s loss to the Marseyside, Liverpool was stiil so hard to consume and it still so thick like a poisoned blood that flows through my limbs.
From the first moment the referee blow his whistle, I kept praying and hoping that in the end of the night, I would be able to smile myself in front of the mirror, and congratulating my heroes in a silly little manner. Guest what happen to me in the end? I ended up swear-wording as my team failed to clinch an easy win, but rather draw level with the Spaniard.
To all who share the same feeling with me on this gloomy, frustrating night, let us put out hands together high in the sky and dedicate our optimism to the one and only team, the greatest team ever which has entertained us for over a century and promise our loyalty to The Red Devils,MANCHESTER UNITED. Let us keep praying and hoping that on the other occasion, we will be definitely on the winning side again. Manchester United will be on top of the world again.Adios….

The Christmas Presents
The Christmas Presents
One dollar and eighty-seven cents. That was all. Every day, when she went to the shop, she spent very little money. She brought the cheapest meat, the cheapest vegetables. And when she was tried, she still walked round and round the shop to find the cheapest food. She saved every cent possible.
Della counted the money again. There was no mistake. One dollar and eighty-seven cents. That was all. And the next day was Christmas.
She couldn’t do anything about it. She could only sit down and cry. So she sat there, in the poor little room, and she cried.
Della lived in this poor little room, in New York, with her husband, James Dillingham Young was lucky, because he had a job, but it was not a good job. These rooms took most of his money. Della tried to find work, but times were bad, and there was no work for her. But when James Dillingham Young comes home to his rooms, Mrs. James Dillingham Young called him “Jim” and put her arms round him. And that was good.
Della stopped crying and she washed her face. She stood by the window, and looked out at a grey cat on a grey wall in the grey road. Tomorrow was Christmas Day, and she had only one dollar and eighty-seven cents to buy Jim a Christmas present. Her Jim. She wanted very much to buy him something really fine, something to show how much she loved him.
Suddenly, Della turned round and ran over to look in the glass on the wall. Her eyes ware bright.
Now the James Dillingham Young had two very special things. One was Jim gold watch. It once belonged to his father, and, before that to his grandfather. The other special thing was Della’s hair.
Quickly, Della let down her beautiful, long hair. It fell down her back and it almost like a coat around her. Then she put her hair up again, quickly. For a second or two she stood still, and cried a little.
Then she put on her old brown coat, and her old brown hat, turned, and left the room. She went downstairs and out into the road, and her eyes were bright.
She walked along by the shops, and stopped when she came to a door with “Madame Eloise-Hair” on it. Inside there was a fat woman. She did not like on “Eloise”
“Will you buy my hair?” Della asked.
“I buy hair,” Madame replied. “Take your hat off, then, and show me your hair.”
The beautiful brown hair fell down.
“Twenty dollars.” Madame said, and she touched the hair with her hand.
“Quick! Cut it off! Give me the money!” Della said.
The next two hours went quickly. Della was happy because she was looking round the shops for Jim’s present.
At last she found it. It was a gold chain for The Watch. Jim loved his watch, but it had no chain. When Della saw this gold chain, she knew immediately that it was right for Jim. She must have it.
The shop took twenty-one dollars from her for it, and she hurried home with the eighty-seven cents.
When she arrived there, she looked at her very short hair in the glass. “What can I do with it?” she thought. For the next half an hour she was very busy.
Then she looked again in the glass. Her hair was now in very small curls all over her head. “Oh, dear. I look like a schoolgirl!” She said to herself. “What’s Jim going to say when he sees me?”
At seven o’clock the dinner was nearly ready and Della was waiting. “Oh, I hope he thinks that I’m still beautiful!” she thought.
The door opened and Jim came in and closed it. He looked very thin and he needed a new coat. His eyes ware on Della. She could not understand the look on his face, and she was afraid. He was not angry or surprised. He just watched her, what the strange look on his face.
Della ran to him.
“Jim”, she cried. “Don’t look at me like that. I sold my hair because I wanted to give you a present. It will soon be long again. I had to do it Jim. Say “Happy Christmas”, please. I have wonderful present for you!”
“You’ve cut off your hair?” asked Jim.
“Yes. I cut it off and sold it,” Della said “But don’t you love me anymore, Jim? I’m still me”
Jim looked round the room.
“You say your hair has gone?” he said almost stupidly.
“Yes. I told you. Because I love you! Shall I get a dinner now, Jim?’
Suddenly Jim put his arms round his Della. Then he took something from his pocket and put it on the table.
“I love you Della,” he said. “It doesn’t matter if your hair is short or long. But if you open that, you’ll see why I was unhappy at first.”
Excited, Della pulled off the paper. Then she gave a little scream of happiness. But a second later there were cries of unhappiness.
Because there were The Combs- the combs for her beautiful hair. When she first saw these combs in the shop window, she wanted them. They were beautiful combs, expensive combs, and now they were her combs. But no longer had her hair!
Della picked them up and held them. Her eyes were full of love.
“but my hair will soon be long again, Jim.”
And then Della remembered. She jumped up and cried, “Oh! Oh! She ran to get Jim’s beautiful present, and she held it out to him.
“Isn’t it lovely, Jim? I looked everywhere for it. Now you’ll want to look at your watch a hundred times a day. Give it to me! Give me your watch, Jim Let’s see it with its new chain.”
But Jim did not do this. He sat down, put his hands behind his head, and he smiled.
“Della,” he said. “Let’s keep our presents for a time. They are so nice. You see, I sold the watch to get the money to buy your combs. And now, let’s have dinner.”
And this was the story of two young people who were very much in love.

‘Lightning Bolt’
I was so interested in reading your posted comment which entitled ‘The energy in Bolt’. As we know, Bolt has a pair of magnificent legs that has lead him to be crowned as the fastest man on earth with a cracking 1oo meters world record mocking run. His performance has earned him the status of gifted runner the world have ever witness, and if anyone ever dare to question his ability, just look the way he ran to clock another world record time in the 200 meters and 4x100 relay event. He ran as if he doesn’t need to force all the muscle in his leg to reach such an amazing speed.
But then, some individual criticized the way he celebrated his glory. Some mark him as arrogant with his dancing celebration and his effortless run. For me, he was displaying the quality of an entertainer. As he said, I am just having fun. I am a performer. People come here to see a performance. Yet, he had definitely entertained the whole world with his performances.
There is no such rule that states how one should celebrate his/her glory. If there’s any, I still don’t think Bolt broke the rules. He is a true sportsman, and the way he celebrate doesn’t seems to promote or to provoke any negative message to the world

..................
Well have you all heard about the “Goo Goo Dolls” ……..
This band has one song that very inspiring for me…
"When you're fighting the current you forget how to live"
is from a Goo Goo Dolls song called " Feel the Silence".
It is one of my favourite songs and means so much to me...
It describes so many things I feel, I can completely relate.
I don't know how much time it has made me cry.
I can't express all these things I'm feeling.
(Well, try it out॥ I give you the lyric here.....)
"Feel The Silence"
You lie awake at night
With blue eyes that never cry
All you remember now
Is what you feel
The truth remains
In midnight conversations
I asked for this moment
But you turned away
Sad like a lonely child
Broken the day you're born
I held the light to you
But I was so vain
And you remain
A promise unfulfilled
I ask you for more
But you push me away
And if we feel the silence
Holding this all inside
Everything means more now than
Words could explain
And if we feel the silence
Holding this all inside us
Looking for something more to say
I don't know where I'm going
Only know where I been
But you move through my soul like a hurricane wind
We've been so lost for so long
I don't know how to get back again
And we're drowning in the water
That flows under this bridge
When you're fighting the current
You forget how to live
And I wanted to reach you but I don't know where to begin
And you remain
A promise unfulfilled until today
And if we feel the silence
Holding this all inside
Everything means more now than
Words could explain
And if we feel the silence
Leaving this all behind us
When it's gone what will you say
How do we hold on
How do we hold on
How do we hold on
How do we hold on
How do we hold on
You lie awake at night
With blue eyes that never cry
